News on the EconCore honeycomb sandwich technology

EconCore combined its thermoplastic ThermHex honeycomb core with metal skins into a well balanced material system. Outstanding low weight of this solution compared to any solid metal sheet is just one of the features that has been proven.

Gifu Plastics, our Japanese licensee, exhibited at the Logis-Tech Show 2010. The products on display were manufactured with our THERMHEX technology and marketed under trade name TECCELL.

The European Patent Office in Munich, Germany, has granted the application under number 1824667, entitled “Half closed thermoplastic honeycomb, their production process and equipment to produce”.
