News on the EconCore honeycomb sandwich technology

Last March, EconCore exhibited, together with daughter company ThermHex Waben, at the JEC Composites Show in Paris. The show was successful in many ways.

EconCore is proud to present its first US licensee: Coroplast, Inc. Based in Chicago, IL, Coroplast is the number one brand of fluted polypropylene board used for signage and packaging applications.

Between 15 and 17 Ocober 2012 EconCore, together with the partner company - Itochu Corporation, had the chance to present the ThermHex technology at the Dubai Plast Pro conference

EconCore and ThermHex Waben can look back at 3 successful days of exhibiting at Composites Europe in Düsseldorf. Composites Europe is one of world’s most innovative fairs in the composite market.

At the annual Shell Eco-marathon Europe (this year held in Rotterdam) the Design award in the Urban Concept category was won by a group of German students of the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthoch hochschule Halle.

EconCore has developed proof of concept that its lightweight honeycomb structure can serve as perfect base to carry solar modules.
