Renolit Gorcell, first prize winner of the Wood Plastic Composites Innovation Award 2013

​RENOLIT with its product RENOLIT GORCELL, thermoformable WPC sheets, was the first prize winner of the WPC Innovation Award. The three winners were elected from the six nominated candidates from six different countries by the 270 participants of the 5th German WPC-Conference, 10-11 Decembre 2013, Cologne, Germany. RENOLIT GORCELL, based on the EconCore technology, is a thermoplastic lightweight panel with WPC-sheets on the top and the bottom, which are giving an aesthetic and natural character to the panel in addition of having high stability and stiffness. Further strengths are resource and energy efficiency due to the continuous inline-process in manufacture of the panels. A very good thermoformability, easy processability, resistance against water and various chemicals as well as a 100% recyclability are additional advantages of this new kind of WPC lightweight board.
