EconCore increased its capital by 1 Million Euro to build up additional capabilities to produce cost efficient honeycomb cores. With its licensing strategy EconCore targets partnerships for a high volume production of a standard sandwich material with a specific material combination. The additional own production capabilities will enable EconCore to supply costumers until a sufficient market has developed to justify an in-line production for this specific material combination. This will make it easier for potential license customers to step into an option agreement and a joint development project. EconCore offers with its ThermHex technology a continuous production of honeycomb cores, enabling the in-line production of sandwich material by lamination of skin layers with a continuous feed from coils.
